Repainting the Studio

At the end of August, I had a hunch that things would not being back to "normal" anytime soon. Covid-19 had upended much of life and I knew with fall coming it was probably going to get worse before it got better. It's that time of year where I have been spending more time inside. Don't get me wrong, I love winter, but my houseplants were looking pretty sad. It was time to transplant! I bought a huge monstera plant a few years back and had divided it, but if you have a monstera, you know they need room to grow. To be honest, I'm not sure this pot I made is large enough, but it will work for now. I love how the cool colors of the planter make the luscious monstera leaves really pop! This month has been a hard slog. I am sure, I am not alone feeling this way. It's been a long year and last holiday season was so busy, busier than normal, which I am extremely grateful for, but I still get tired like everyone else.
