Stoneware Pottery

If way back in February, someone would have said to me guess what: there will be a pandemic, all your art fairs and in-person events will be canceled, you will start throwing on a potters wheel again, and with stoneware clay. I would have thought they had bumped their noggin! I mean, first off, I started making mugs like this beautiful stoneware mug, but it was just for me. It is still my favorite. Setting Up an Online Store

Hello August! I say that because I didn't think all the Covid-19 related closures would last this long. I was wrong, so wrong indeed that I received my first art fair cancellation for 2021 this week. She was raised in a time when woman got married and had families. She did teach elementary...

Three Tips for 4th of July Fun

I originally posted this on July 3, 2015, but thought you could all use a laugh. Happy Independence Day!  I see a lot of lists on how to improve your business, how to live stress free, etc., etc., and these lists are usually LONG. I don't have time for that. Plus, if your list is really that life changing you need to get to it. That said, Saturday is the 4th of July. Time to celebrate our independence from Great Britain with picnics, parades, and fireworks. Today I've comprised 3 tips for guaranteed fun on the 4th of July. 1....
