Being an Artist Mug

This one of kind handmade stoneware mug is created with the love of pattern and color in mind. It is decorated with white slip and various colorful underglazes. This piece celebrates the spontaneity of the image transfer process with the peeling paint effect and is fully sealed with clear glaze.

The writing says: "Being an artist is hard, but I guess most things are right? I am tired of second guessing everything I do. I know, what to do I am just scared. Maybe that's it, maybe it's not the second guessing that I am tired of, what I am actually tired of is being afraid of my own ideas."

Each mug is made from stoneware clay and decorated with playful rainbow houses and a black grid. The  mug measures 3.5" high and 4" wide and holds 12oz. It is microwave and dishwasher safe.
