This piece started as a pedestal bowl and I joked while making it that it was actually for my margaritas. A friend commented it looked like a scorpion bowl and I couldn't argue with that logic!
A scorpion bowl is for a communal shared drink, which may sound gross to some, but I thought it was cute. Of course you don't have to use it as a scorpion bowl, you could you it for its original intention: a pedestal bowl. It would even make a cute communal banana split bowl or if you REALLY love banana splits, a banana split for one. I won't judge you!
This piece measure 7" tall and the width of the bowl is 6", which the width of the pedestal is approximately 5". There are seven handmade mirror balls encircling the scorpion bowl that are removable for easy clean up. I would recommend hand washing this fun piece.
Hand thrown from stoneware clay and decorated with screen printed image transfer this is definitely a one of kind piece.
