This summer when I was harvesting garlic from our garden, I looked up at my new barn studio being built, I thought it might be time to revisit making garlic keepers.
This garlic keeper is an homage to my new barn studio! This barn is handbuilt from stoneware clay and decorated with a playful square pattern that is hand screen printed. The barn measures 6.5" wide, 3" deep and 4.75" tall. It holds two HUGE bulbs of garlic. I plant German hardneck garlic (as seen) and they are big!
