I am in the process of creating a new line. I am making new pottery shapes and new glazes. While I was looking at some tumblers I made some glaze tests on I realized how cool color theory is. For those that don't know color theory is the intersection of where art and science come together. A lot of people think it is just about mixing color and while that is an hugely important part of color theory. One of my favorite parts is the way colors interact with one another.
In the video below these cups stay in the same place and are the same color only the background color changes. Pretty cool huh?
