In March of 2020 when we all went into lockdown due to Covid-19, I got an idea to read 5 things to be happy about a day from the book 14,000 Things to Be Happy About.
My best friend bought me the book because in college I had a page-a-day calendar called 5 Things to Be Happy About. Susanne would ask me what are today's 5 things? We would go over the 5 items either agreeing with the list, disagreeing with the list, and just having a few minutes of fun. It was fun to give the calendar pages when certain items reminded me of friends and family or when I wanted to tease someone.
My college experience was no walk in the park and these little daily reminders of joy helped me through some difficult experiences.
It's my turn to help spread some joy. Enjoy!
